Why people fail to lose weight?

Why Diets FailIntroduction
Fitness and health goals, in general are considered as some of the most significant and influential goals in our life that can potentially affect all aspects of our life. Losing weight is, however, a goal that is rarely accomplished and the most common reason for that is, most people tend to choose diets that do not work for them, in a desperate attempt to reach their weight loss goal soon as possible.

Why?

Well, there are quite a few reasons:

1-People become too choosy: Following a weight loss diet which focuses only on certain foods can make you get easily bored and start craving for your favorite, forbidden foods. Before long, you get back to your old eating habits and gain even more weight than before.

2- People choose “fast weight loss diet”: There are diets that promise quick and long-lasting weight loss because they contain a ''miracle'' ingredient or because they can cleanse your body from all toxins. Both of those promises are empty. There is no ''miracle'' ingredient and those body cleanses are highly suspect. On the contrary, fast weight loss diet forces your body to lower its metabolic rate and burn fewer calories. When you start eating normally again, your metabolism cannot readjust and you need to consume even fewer calories than before to lose weight. This is known as the ''yo-yo syndrome''. Sometimes, quick diets do cause some weight loss, but then bounce-back takes over and people become heavier than before the diet because they felt deprived.

3-People restrict their food intake:Also, traditional weight loss diet restricts food intake. The body reacts to this apparent famine by slowing down its metabolic rate and burning less energy. Additionally, dieters avoid social situations involving food. Temporary lapses produce feelings of frustration and failure. Physically and emotionally deprived, they compensate by binging, and this diet-binge cycle sets them on the path to obesity. Considering the above reasons, here’s a simple and easy optimal diet advice to remember.

Go for the foods that take long to be cooked:Do know, the longer it takes for a food to cook, the longer it takes to digest in your system, which is a good thing when trying to lose weight. This means that quick and convenient foods, a staple of current society, burn off much quicker and leave us feeling hungry sooner. Regular sugar raises the glycemic index quickly, but drops it quickly as well - another reason you will find yourself hungry sooner.

Reject the high-fat, high-calorie diet centered on over-processed bland foods:A healthy diet is colorful, crammed with red, yellow and green fruits and vegetables to replace cravings for pale French fries and donuts. Protein is sourced from low-fat meat and dairy products, carbohydrates from wholegrain, and fats and oils are unsaturated choices like canola, olive and soybean.

Also, never skip a meal. The longer you wait to eat, the more you will consume later. Also, if you tend to eat bigger meals later in the day, there is less time to burn off calories.

So, ideally, you should abandon old diet methods and adopt permanent wellness tactics. Any effective weight loss diet advice focuses on health gained, not pounds lost. Accordingly, adopt a different approach to dieting and throw out the old diet and start a new one. Start a diet that you will stick to for life. Diets don't work because they focus on the body only. The all new diet advice takes the whole being into consideration: body, mind, and soul. It will set you on successful path into an ideal body weight and perfect body figure and shape.
